There has been a heated debate over Zillow and it's new feature allowing agents to post a home up to 30 days before entering into the MLS. Zillow contends the is ideal for consumers in especially heated market places with limited inventories. NAR has warned this could be bad for conusmers wheras the practice seriously limits the sellers exposure to the entire marketplace and therefore negatively affecting the final sales price of the home. Zillow has always touted itself as a consumer centric site but the majority of their income is derived from the real estate agent and only "premuim" zillow members are able to utilize this feature.

As an experienced professional of 22 years I can see the pros and cons of each side. What are you thoughts? I would really like to hear from the consumer point of view.
